Shawn Compton, Bsc. Agriculture

Shawn Compton began in his career in grain farming in the R.M of Pembina in 1988, diversifying to cattle and sheep farming through the 1990s. In 2001, Shawn exited farm ownership to take employment with Ridley Canada at their Feed Rite mill in Manitou, Manitoba.

In 2005, Puratone created the new BlOvator division, which Shawn managed until September 2008. When the opportunity arose, Shawn purchased the BlOvator division from Puratone on October 1, 2008, with plans of taking his company global.

Shawn is married with four children and currently resides in Brandon, MB.

John V. Walser
President, Nioex Systems USA, Inc.

John has been in the equipment sales and service for the hog industry since 1991. For more than 18 years prior to that, he operated a corn and soybean farm south of Mankato, Minnesota. A graduate of Mankato Technical College (Ag Production). John still resides in Minnesota. He is married and the proud father of seven children.

 

Cal Funk
Business Development Manager

Cal has attended and completed the University of Guelph Extension Program, ANAC/University of Guelph Feed Advisors Certificate Program, the Richard Ivey School of Business, and the Insights Discovery Program. Cal’s career includes three years marketing specialized agricultural equipment internationally, eight years managing and directing the activities of a privately owned company with over 100 employees, and 16 years driving production and marketing efforts for one of Western Canada’s fastest-growing agribusinesses.

Cal’s primary responsibility as Business Development Manager is bringing leadership to all of our marketing activities outside of the United States.
