From Hog Farms to the Forks Market:Manitoba firm’s organic waste composters go green
Since 2004, the BIOvatorTM composter from Manitoba-based Nioex Systems Inc. has become widely embraced by hog and poultry farms throughout North America for its environmentally sound animal mortality management. In its most recent application, a trial phase at The Forks Market in Winnipeg, the BIOvatorTM was tested for its ability to turn nearly 320 tonnes of annual garbage into green friendly reusable organic compost.

BIO316 now available
After six months of R&D and design deliberation, the new BIO316 is now available. The new 3’ x 16’ model was designed for the smaller animal unit facilities as well as the non-mortality organic markets such as grocery and restaurant outlets.
The BIO316 utilizes the same proven technology as Nioex’s current BIOvatorTM models but on a smaller scale. Its compact design creates a unique combination of product capacity and space utilization. The BIO316 will compost up to 150 pounds of organic waste per day.

Smaller BIOvatorTM model to launch in September 2009
A smaller version of the BIOvatorTM, ideal for poultry farms, restaurants, resorts, fisheries and compost sites will be available Fall 2009. Watch for product info in the BIOvator section, scheduled for release Sept. 15th. Please contact us for details.

Fire destroys barn, but not the BIOvatorTM
A 1200 sow barn near Regina was completely destroyed by fire. Thankfully no employees were hurt. The only thing left standing was t heir all-steel BIOvatorTM, which required very minor repairs. A testament to its durability and strength.
